I grew up in southeast Texas and was raised by my grandparents. They taught me about southern hospitality and the way things used to be. I hope to preserve those ideas and pass them along to my daughter so that she may do the same.
I am a creative person, but firmly believe it's out of necessity. I didn't grow up with much and that has forced me to be creative. You see, where there's a will there's a way... and I can always rig something up to make anything happen. That's what you call creativity!
During the day I work as an administrative assistant at a church. Most of the time I love my job, but I always love Jesus. He saved me from my self so I try to live every day of my life for Him! I love Him more than anything. I love my husband, my daughter, creating things, tattoos, traveling, food, dinosaurs, and other things I am forgetting right now.
It's my hope that you find this blog entertaining, but above all else, inspiring. This is mainly a "how-to" blog. I will be sharing how I create things and most likely sharing more than the average human cares to know about me!
